Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 17, 2026

1. Acceptance & Authority

By accessing the Alphatic Practice Cloud or any services provided by Alphatic Labs, you (the "Client" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are accepting on behalf of a clinic, hospital, or healthcare entity, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Critical: Clinical Responsibility Disclaimer

Alphatic Labs provides administrative and documentation assistance tools. We are NOT a healthcare provider and do NOT provide medical advice.

The licensed healthcare professional (the Clinician) is solely responsible for the accuracy of all clinical documentation, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Any AI-generated content (including scribed notes) MUST be verified and signed off by a human provider before being finalized in a patient record.

3. Service Levels & Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime for our core practice intelligence features. Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 48 hours in advance and will typically occur during low-traffic windows (2:00 AM - 4:00 AM IST).

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Razorpay

Alphatic Labs uses **Razorpay** as our primary payment gateway for recurring subscriptions and modular feature add-ons.

  • **Billing Cycles:** Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • **Non-Payment:** Access to core clinical features will be suspended 7 days after a failed payment attempt.
  • **Refund Policy:** Due to the infrastructure costs associated with high-availability healthcare clouds, fees are generally non-refundable unless specified otherwise in a custom Enterprise SLA.

5. Data Ownership & Portability

We adhere to the principle that **Health Data belongs to the Clinic and the Patient**. Alphatic Labs will never hold your clinical data hostage.

Upon valid termination of service, you have the right to request a full dump of your clinical database in a standard electronic format. We facilitate this transition to ensure continuity of care for your patients.

6. Prohibited Use

Users shall not attempt to reverse-engineer our proprietary clinical intelligence algorithms, exploit the API for bulk data scraping, or use the platform to facilitate any illegal healthcare practices.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alphatic Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from clinical errors, data loss due to user negligence, or service interruptions caused by third-party infrastructure providers.
